About Kaiser Stud

Kaiser Stud is located on the 15th Line of Cookstown, less than 5 minutes from Highway 400. We boast thirty 12 x 12 stalls (with large windows) in a warm barn that never freezes, a 80 x 180 attached arena with a heated viewing room and washroom, a 100 x 200 sand ring, and a 100 x 200 grass ring. We also have two tack rooms with large individual lockers for our boarders, a wash stall with hot water, and laundry. Our horses enjoy large grass paddocks, group or individual turnout, unlimited hay (indoors and outdoors), individual feed programs, and amazing hacking on the Trans Canada Trail.

Horseback Riding Lessons

Kaiser Stud offers horseback riding lessons in an 80 x 180 indoor arena (heated viewing room and washroom) and in large sand or grass rings. We work with beginners to experienced riders and pleasure riders to competitive riders. Our competitive show team competes on both the “A” and Trillium circuits.

Horseback riding lessons are offered in your choice of discipline including Dressage, Hunter/Jumper, etc.

Showing Opportunities

At Kaiser Stud, we teach all aspects of riding, from the beginner rider to the advanced, serious competitor. Our riding program is tailored to meet the individual needs of each rider in a relaxed, friendly environment. We have quality ponies and horses available for part-board/leasing! We currently have students showing on the schooling, Trillium, and 'A' circuit! Lessons are available on proven show horses and ponies with experienced coaches. Children ages 5 and up will practice correct riding technique in your choice of group: semi-private or private lessons.

Horse Boarding Facilities

Looking for the perfect place for your horse to call home? Kaiser Stud offers a large indoor riding arena (80 x 180), as well as sand & grass rings, available to all of our boarders. Conveniently located near Highway 89 and Highway 27 in Cookstown, we have access to great hacking trails on the Trans Canada Trail – the longest recreational trail in the world, logging more than 20, 000 km across the nation! All of the horses at Kaiser Stud have access to 24/7 hay and water, plus several acres of grazing pasture throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

Kaiser Stud offers some horse boarding options – indoor horse board and part-board/leasing.

Indoor Horse Board

Our indoor board program includes: 12x12 stall with large windows; access to our attached indoor arena, sand & grass rings; a warm barn that never freezes with heated viewing room and washroom; 2 boarder tack rooms with large individual lockers; wash stall with hot water; onsite laundry; large grass paddocks with group or individual turnout and unlimited hay and water (indoors and out); individual feed programs; blanket changes; holding for vet & ferrier; plus hacking on the Trans Canada Trail.
